About Us
Bhagwan Mahavir International School (BMIS) started in 2019-2020, located in the city’s heart, surrounded by lush greenery. BMIS ensures a perfect blend of academics, sports, and co-curricular activities for all the students from Grades Nursery to XII. Our vision is to provide pre-primary to higher secondary education with an international curriculum deeply rooted in Indian heritage.
Bhagwan Mahavir International School
Inspite of being situated in densely populated area of Vesu, Surat, there’s ample greenery around. There’s a lush green lawn, courts, and skating ring within the campus. Entire campus is monitored round the clock, with appropriate fire safety equipment, broad stairways and CCTV surveillance.

The school operates in two shifts – Morning Shift and Noon Shift.
Morning Shift – Pre-Primary – 09:30 am to 01:00 pm; Grade I & II – 08:30 am to 01:00 pm & Grade III to XII – 07:30am to 01:00 pm Afternoon Shift – Pre-Primary – 12:30 pm to 03:30 pm; Grade I to XII – 12:30 pm to 05:30 pm
For Pre Primary its off and for Grade I to IX & XI – every 2nd & 4th Saturday school is off.
Yes, we have school buses, with a trained attendant to take care of the learners.
We have a no-homework policy for Pre-Primary to Grade V learners; so, there is no burden of heavy homework. However, we may ask them to work on projects or give practice work to help retain their lessons better. We upload worksheets/practice sheet on the school ERP for BMIANS to revise.
We have a no punishment policy. We continually explain to our learners the importance of good behavior. However, if the matter is severe, our coordinators & principal guide them to control their hyperactivity and behavioral issues and latter same is communicated to their parents.

For Pre-Primary its 30 and for Grades I to XII its 40.
The school cafeteria provides hygienically prepared refreshments at reasonable prices.
We consider each child is unique. Individual attention is given to each and every learner. We strongly believe in remedial education. So for learners with learning difficulties, we have remedial strategies to help them.
Safety is our primary importance, we have security guards at every entry and exit points. School staircases are extremely broad and well ventilated. Fire safety certificate and appropriate equipment are also installed within our school premises along with being safe, our school campus is also very hygienic & full of greenery.
We communicate with parents on regular basis. They are updated over the School App, through our Facebook page, Instagram page, & WhatsApp. We consider parents feedback very sincerely and do survey before implementing any new changes.
Yes, you can enroll your child in the Before & After School Activities in terms of outdoor activities/sports. However, indoor sports/activities and co-scholastic activities are part of their regular time-table.
