Hindi was adopted as the national lanaguage of India by the Indian Constitution on September 14, 1949. Every year to commemorate the day, Hindi Diwas is celebrated in BMIS & activities such as debate, & elocution is organised.

Learners of grade IX to XII had a debate competition and Dev Jain (XII Commerce), Akshita Dubey (XI Commerce) & Ronit Jain (XB) secured 1st, 2nd, & 3 prize.

On the other hand, learners of grade VI to VIII participated in elocution competition & its winners are as follows – Prakhar Shrivastava (VIIIB) – 1st, Aarush Gupta (VIIIA) – 2nd, & Aaradhya Pandey (VIA) – 3rd.

The objective of celebrating Hindi Diwas was to sensitise learners about the importance of this ancient language & to promote how important it is for us to have the knowledge of Hindi, as more than half of the population in India speaks Hindi.
